The Beginning of a Good Thing

Even before we were born 

our friendship began,

one was Amanda 

and the other was Anne.

Our pregnant mothers swam together

while little did they know,

that their daughter's lifelong friendship  

would soon to grow.

The beginning was filled with 

hours of innocent play,

from fishing, and camping

to lady bug collecting all day.  

And since then, 

it has been quite a ride, 

we've gone up and down 

and side to side.

From eastern educations 

and beach days on the Cape,

to South American adventures,

and a winter wonderland escape.

With the expanse of the Pacific 

creating miles in between,

we shall use this Blog 

as a place to convene.

To share our thoughts, 

and interesting things we may find.

To communicate the good things in life

or just whatever comes to mind.

So basically we have started this blog

as a way to keep in touch,

but we hope that others will enjoy it 

just as much.
